To kick things off for this month, Mid Murray Support Service would like to extend a huge welcome back to Scrooges Op-Shop. New Manager Leonie has been working tirelessly to provide our community with a new Country Treasures Experience. Lots of community members have been donating goods and clothing to keep what we have to offer different and interesting and provide you with anything from a new wardrobe and toys for the kids to fine crystal and table ware. Pop in and prepare to be surprised. If you have larger donations call Leonie from Wednesday to Sunday on 8569 1892 to arrange a viewing or drop off/pick up.

Mid Murray Support Service (MMSS) is pleased to announce that after many months of hard work, its Social Enterprise ‘Scrooges’ is scheduled to reopen on August 2nd, 2023.

Since opening the store back in 2012, Scrooges has become a well-recognised store in Mannum, enjoyed by many, and grown to become a valuable resource for Mannum residents, surrounding communities, and visitors.

June has been a very busy month for Mid Murray Support Service Inc. We’ve had lots of activities happening, our support workers have been diligently helping our community and living our vision of “Making Lives Better” and we have some very exciting news regarding our Social Enterprise Scrooges.

We have been so busy here at Mid Murray Support Service Inc this past month. With preparations for Scrooges Op Shop to reopen beginning and our Social Support activities proving more and more popular within the community we are very busy.

Mid Murray Support Service has had a busy month. With new clients coming on board every day, we are proud to be working in the community, for the community. We are certainly not afraid to travel to provide supports. We can travel for up to 60 minutes from Mannum (staying within the Mid Murray Council Region) to help with Aged Care and Disability supports.
